A man has been hit over the head with a gun during an armed robbery at a Belfast off-licence tonight.
The victim was confronted by two hooded and armed men at around 6pm at his Ormeau Road property who demanded money.
He was taken to the rear of the building where he was asked for cash from a safe and hit with a weapon.
He has since been discharged from hospital.
The robbers, with scarves and black boot polish on their faces, escaped with money.
They were seen later in an alleyway adjacent to Haypark Avenue.
A number of items have been seized for forensic examination.
