IMF predicts Ireland's GNP growth of 4.2% in 2007
Ireland's Gross National Product will to grow by 4.2% this year, according to the International Monetary Fund.
The forecast has been welcomed by Tánaiste and Finance Minister Brian Cowen.
He said that the GNP growth rate was very high by international standards, and more favourable than other EU member states.
