Clive Cox is anticipating a bold show from Don’t Forget Faith in tomorrow’s Frenchgate First For Fashion May Hill Stakes at Doncaster.
The daughter of Victory Gallop will tackle a mile for the first time on Town Moor as she bids to make it two wins from three starts.
Don’t Forget Faith beat the highly-rated Visit on her racecourse bow before going down by just half a length to Albabilia in a Newmarket Group Three last time.
“She’s in very good form with herself and I’m looking forward to seeing her run over a mile,” Cox said.
“I think she will appreciate the step up in trip tomorrow and she goes there with an obvious favourite’s chance.
“She’s a lovely filly and I hope she will continue to build on the promise she has already shown – she does have some good form to her name.
“The ground should be ideal for her. She’s a wonderful filly and it’s a joy to have anything to with her.”
Don’t Forget Faith will have one less rival to contend with tomorrow as Cape Amber has been declared a non-runner by Peter Chapple-Hyam.
