Tomorrow’s meeting at Leicester hinges on a 6.45am precautionary inspection.
The track was afflicted by a sharp overnight frost which forced the hand of clerk of the course Jimmy Stevenson.
He said: “We reached minus-seven degrees during the night and we were not expecting that.
“We therefore need to assess the situation in the morning.
“Temperatures are expected to drop to around minus-three degrees and if that’s the case, we would have a chance.”
