Man arrested following Waterford stabbing

A man in his early 20s has been arrested in Co Waterford following an alleged stabbing this morning.

A man in his early 20s has been arrested in Co Waterford following an alleged stabbing this morning.

A woman in her 20s was seriously injured in the incident, which took place at a caravan park near Tramore shortly before 11.30am today.

She has been treated at Waterford Regional Hospital.

Another man who was at the scene was also slightly injured.

A man is being held at Tramore Garda Station for questioning under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
