Megan Mullally, star of the hit comedy show Will and Grace, and Michael Clarke Duncan, who appears in new movie Daredevil, will announce the nominees for the 9th Annual Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards this week.

The awards, which are the only motion picture industry accolades devoted solely to actors honouring actors, take place on March 9 and the nominations are revealed tomorrow (Jan 28).

Mullally won a SAG statuette for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series in 2002 for her portrayal as Karen on Will and Grace.

Meanwhile Clarke Duncan was nominated for an Oscar and two SAG Awards for The Green Mile in 2000, both for his supporting performance and as a cast member.

He next stars opposite Ben Affleck as the villainous kingpin in Daredevil which opens next month.

Secret ballots with the names of more than 1300 potential nominees for outstanding performances in television and movies were sent to two randomly selected panels totalling 4,200 SAG members earlier this month.
