Elderly man dies in two-car collision

A man in his mid-70s has died following a two-car collision on a road in Co Meath yesterday afternoon.

A man in his mid-70s has died following a two-car collision on a road in Co Meath yesterday afternoon.

The accident happened at around 3pm on the road between Kells and Cavan.

The dead man was driving one of the two cars involved.

The female driver of the other vehicle was taken to Our Lady's Hospital in Navan, where her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
