Taoiseach Bertie Ahern has contacted British Prime Minister Tony Blair to congratulate him on his historic second term, following Labour's landslide victory.

Taoiseach Bertie Ahern has contacted British Prime Minister Tony Blair to congratulate him on his historic second term, following Labour's landslide victory.

The Taoiseach also thanked Mr Blair for his work on the peace process.
