Crude incendiary device found under car in Dublin

Army bomb disposal experts are examining a crude incendiary device found in south Dublin this morning.

Army bomb disposal experts are examining a crude incendiary device found in south Dublin this morning.

The device, which did not ignite, was discovered underneath a car in the Stillorgan area shortly before 4am.

The Army was called and took the device away to be dismantled before handing it to Gardaí for investigation.

A spokesman said the device had been made from fireworks.
