Dennis Bergkamp has recovered from an Achilles injury and returns to Arsenal’s squad ahead of tomorrow’s crucial Champions League tie against Rosenborg.

The 35-year-old is set to replace Jose Reyes in attack, while youngsters Mathieu Flamini and Justin Hoyte will come into the side instead of suspended duo Patrick Vieira and Lauren.

Arsene Wenger’s main selection decision revolves around his choice of goalkeeper, with Manuel Almunia in pole position to keep his place ahead of Jens Lehmann.

But he is still without Gilberto, Edu and Pascal Cygan through injury, while Robin van Persie and Jermaine Pennant are close to comebacks after missing last weekend’s win against Birmingham.

Provisional squad: Almunia, Lehmann, Hoyte, Cole, Clichy, Campbell, Toure, Senderos, Fabregas, Flamini, Pires, Ljungberg, Reyes, van Persie, Pennant, Henry, Bergkamp.
