Fire swept through a tent being used by Pakistan earthquake survivors, killing seven people including four children, police said today.

Fire swept through a tent being used by Pakistan earthquake survivors, killing seven people including four children, police said today.

Four of the victims died at the scene late yesterday and three others died early today at a nearby German-run field hospital, said local police official Mohammed Nadeem.

The dead included two girls and two boys, all siblings, aged 3-8. Their mother also died, along with a couple in their 60s, Nadeem said.
