Katona attached to camera crew

The 30-year-old blonde has starred in several reality TV shows - with her latest series ‘Kerry Katona - The Next Chapter’ starting on ITV2 tonight – and she is so used to being filmed she misses the team when the cameras stop rolling.

She said: "The cameras just follow me day-to-day, I almost forget that they're there sometimes, when they're not there is when I notice.

"When they're not there I feel a bit lost without them. I do miss them, well it's the people behind the cameras if I'm really honest but I don't like to tell them that too much! I like to keep them on their toes."

Although Katona is happy for her life to be filmed, she insists she would stop the cameras from recording her children’s activities if any of them did not want to be seen on screen.

The star - who has four children, Molly, nine, Lilly-Sue, seven, Heidi, three, and two-year-old Max from her two failed marriages - said: "I don't put my kids on TV to gain from it or to think: 'Oh yes, my kids are going to be celebrities.'

"I want people to learn from it and hopefully know what to do, or what not to do. I think that's a great thing I can give back to the public or to anyone who has got any struggles in life.

"My Molly has got to that age now where if she doesn’t want to be filmed then she doesn't have to be filmed. Whatever my kids want they get, it just depends how much it costs!

"But I'm really wary about what we film with the kids, especially Molly, my eldest, if she wants to tell me something about a boy in school or something then we'll do all that in secret because the kids at her school watch the show."
