Two gardai hurt in Sligo ramming

A man has been arrested in connection with a ramming incident in Sligo early this morning, in which two members of the gardai were injured.

A man has been arrested in connection with a ramming incident in Sligo early this morning, in which two members of the gardai were injured.

The incident occurred outside Sligo town at around 4.20am when gardai had been in pursuit of a car.

Both gardai were taken to Sligo General Hospital but were released without serious injury.
