Man dies in fall while working on factory roof in Carlow

A 33-year-old man has died in a fall while working on the roof of a factory in Co Carlow.

A 33-year-old man has died in a fall while working on the roof of a factory in Co Carlow.

The man is understood to have been laying broadband cables at the factory in Bagenalstown yesterday when he fell through the perspex roof.

His body was found at around 6pm by a truck driver.

The Gardaí and the Health and Safety Authority have both launched investigations into the incident.
