A drunken man trying to run down his wife in a marital squabble crashed his car into a roadside kiosk in central Russia, killing two children.

The man then threw himself in front of a passing truck and was crushed to death, police said today.

The wife was unharmed in the incident in Putyatino, about 90 miles southeast of Moscow, said police Captain Sergei Drozko.

The man, identified only as a Slovak citizen, suspected his wife of cheating on him, Drozko said.

The children, aged 11 and 12, were inside the kiosk when the man rammed the flimsy structure, Drozko said. The man believed his wife was in the kiosk.
