A Briton was confirmed to be among four people kidnapped from Nigerian night club last night, police say.

A Briton was confirmed to be among four people kidnapped from Nigerian night club last night, police say.

The British oil worker was kidnapped in southern Nigeria’s oil hub of Port Harcourt.

State police spokeswoman Irejua Barasua did not identify the hostage-takers and said no arrests have been made.

The night-time attack occurred as gunshots rang out across the city, keeping residents in their homes.
