Paddy Teahon, the chairman and chief executive of Stadium Ireland, has confirmed that he has delivered a response to the Attorney General’s report into the aquatic centre fiasco.

However, Mr Teahon refused to reveal details of his submission to the Dail’s public accounts committee because, he said, it would be inappropriate to do so before the report is released.

The report is unlikely to be published until next week and Mr Teahon is expected to be called before the public accounts committee again at that stage.
