FAI fails to confirm make-up of selection panel
The Football Association of Ireland has failed to confirm the make-up a proposed panel to choose the new Republic of Ireland manager.
The association was expected to announce the panel following a board meeting last night.
However, it failed to do so and said instead that representatives of the board would meet with the proposed panel members with a view to moving the process forward.
The FAI said that choosing the best possible candidate for the job remained the priority.
