Joan Collins is to join US daytime soap Guiding Light. She will play "rich bitch" Alexandra Spaulding.

Joan Collins is to join US daytime soap Guiding Light. She will play "rich bitch" Alexandra Spaulding.

Guiding Light has been on air in America for over 50 years.

Collins has been signed up for six months and she is expected to be seen in episodes from September, reports Variety.
