Former AllStar goalkeeper Brendan Cummins is a major injury doubt for Tipperary's National League Division 1B match against Wexford on March 13 after twisting his ankle in Sunday's victory over Limerick at the Gaelic Grounds.

Dual player Cummins picked up the injury while trying to save a shot from Limerick midfielder Paul O'Grady in the second half and was forced to retire.

Premier boss Ken Hogan said: "Brendan suffered an ankle injury and we just hope he didn't twist it too badly."
