The head of the Health and Safety Authority says that the number of deaths and serious injury from farm accidents here is tragic.

The head of the Health and Safety Authority says that the number of deaths and serious injury from farm accidents here is tragic.

The authority has launched a new media campaign as an attempt to arrest the problem.

Head of the authority group, Tom Beegan, says the fatalities are a human and economic tragedy for those left behind.

He claims many of these such accidents could be prevented.
