Lawyers for Ryanair have said Rosanna Davison's libel action against the airline is "a storm in a teacup" while the model's legal team has said she "had no choice but to sue".
The former Miss World is suing over a press release which criticised the model's comments on the lack of Irish women in the airline's 2009 charity calendar as having "bordered on racism".
In his final address to the jury, Ryanair's counsel Martin Hayden said Rosanna Davison has "made a federal production" of this case that centres on a press release on the company's website that was accessed by less than a thousand people in Ireland.
In his reply for the model, senior counsel Declan Doyle argued Ryanair's news release was "grossly disproportionate and defamatory" and he said Rosanna Davison "had no choice but to sue for damages or crawl under a stone".
