On the back of just a maiden win at Hamilton, the incredibly expensive colt showed undeniable talent to stay on for third behind Harbinger.

The trainer said: “It was a great run and he came back absolutely fine.

“He’s certainly very green and we hadn’t had him long since his transfer from Godolphin.

“I’ll have to talk to the owner – we didn’t have any great plans for the horse as we didn’t know how good he was.”
