Dylan Thomas has been named as Cartier Racehorse of the Year for 2007, the most prized award in European racing.
The four-year-old, trained by Aiden O'Brien, won the Prix de L'Arc de Triomphe at Longchamp last month, but then had to survive a lengthy stewards' inquiry.
Earlier, he had put up arguably the best performance of his career, routing the opposition in the King George the Sixth and Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Ascot in July.
