Dylan Thomas has been named as Cartier Racehorse of the Year for 2007, the most prized award in European racing.

The four-year-old, trained by Aiden O'Brien, won the Prix de L'Arc de Triomphe at Longchamp last month, but then had to survive a lengthy stewards' inquiry.
