John Oxx's unbeaten Danak is to have his sights raised with the Tattersalls Gold Cup at the Curragh on the agenda.
The Aga Khan's four-year-old has yet to taste defeat in five career outings and handled another step up in class with ease when landing the Group Three Amethyst Stakes on his last start.
"He's done well for us and we may be aiming him a bit high but we are thinking of running him in the Tattersalls Gold Cup," said Oxx.
"That would be going up two and a half furlongs from anything he has raced over previously but his running style suggests it won't be a problem.
"It would be a big step up in class but it is a distinct possibility at the moment.
"It is normally a small field for that race and sometimes there are five or six really good horses but you can get years like last year when there is just one very good one.
"He is certainly one to look forward to but whether he is up to a race like that remains to be seen."
