Large sum stolen in Belfast raid

A sum numbering in tens of thousands of pounds is believed to have been stolen by thieves who held up the family of a worker at Sprucefield Shopping Centre outside Belfast.

A sum numbering in tens of thousands of pounds is believed to have been stolen by thieves who held up the family of a worker at Sprucefield Shopping Centre outside Belfast.

The police have said that the family was kidnapped at their Hannahstown home on the outskirts of west Belfast.

Details are still coming in but it's believed the family were released and are shaken but otherwise unharmed.
