Cavan impressed as they claimed an 0-14 to 0-11 win over Wicklow at Aughrim.

The visitors led from the 14th minute of this contest until the end, once Martin Dunne placed them into a 0-4 to 0-3 lead.

Dunne and Martin Reilly were hugely impressive for Cavan, as the Breffni County led by 0-8 to 0-4 at the interval, with six first half points from the boot of Dunne.

Wicklow fought back on the restart, but Cavan never relinquished their lead.
