Longford Town 0 Shelbourne 2

Shelbourne moved back to being five points clear at the top of the table with this comfortable win at Flancare Park.

Shels scarcely missed their injured topscorer Jason Byrne as Gerard Rowe put them in front on 14 minutes. Ollie Cahill did well to whip the ball over from the end line and the 19-year-old headed home from very close range.

Glen Fitzpatrick put the seal on the win in the 90th minute when tapping home after great work by Wes Hoolahan.
