Man charged following teenage stabbing

A man is due to appear at Dublin District Court this morning, charged with the stabbing of a 15-year-old boy in the north of the city at the weekend.

A man is due to appear at Dublin District Court this morning, charged with the stabbing of a 15-year-old boy in the north of the city at the weekend.

The teenager was attacked at the junction of Griffith Avenue and Ballymun Road in the early hours of Saturday morning, with gardai believing the attacker emerged from nearby bushes.

The youth is still being treated in Dublin's Mater Hospital, where his condition is described as serious but stable.

The man was arrested early yesterday.
