Gareth Farrelly led by example as Bohemians won this frantic Dublin derby at Richmond Park.

Player/boss Farrelly struck for the only goal of the game on 44 minutes.

Winger John Paul Kelly was fouled some 25 yards out and Farrelly’s thumping free kick beat Barry Ryan in the Saints' goal.

Saints thought they were back in the match on 75 minutes. Dave Muclahy was upended inside the area, but Bohs' keeper Stephen O’Brien was equal to Mark Quigley’s spot kick to make the save.
