John Casey elected LSCA chairman

Mr John Casey, president and chief operating officer of reinsurance company nSpire Re Limited, has been elected chairman of the Leinster Society of Chartered Accountants (LSCA).

Mr John Casey, president and chief operating officer of reinsurance company nSpire Re Limited, has been elected chairman of the Leinster Society of Chartered Accountants (LSCA).

Mr Casey has over 20 years’ experience in the industry, with 18 of those years being in the insurance sector.

Mr Casey, who has been actively involved in LSCA committees for the past eight years, said he was delighted to have been elected to the post of chairman.

“This is a great honour and I intend to continue the fine work of the previous Chairman, Tom Higgins, and past chairmen, in promoting increased standards in the accounting profession,” said Mr Casey.

Mr Casey will take up his position of chairman following the LSCA’s AGM today.
