Three gardai arrested in Donegal today

Three serving members of An Garda Siochana were arrested this morning as part of the on-going enquiry into allegations in the Donegal Division conducted by the Carty team.

Three serving members of An Garda Siochana were arrested this morning as part of the on-going enquiry into allegations in the Donegal Division conducted by the Carty team.

One Sergeant and two gardai were arrested shortly after 8am at various locations in Donegal and taken to Letterkenny garda station, where they are presently being detained for questioning.

All three are being detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
