SF to launch Bill to remove property tax

Sinn Féin will today launch a draft repeal Bill to have the property tax removed from legislation.

The party argues the tax on family homes is "unfair" and should be "scrapped completely".

Their document is also calling for money to be returned to those who have already paid the tax.

Pearse Doherty said removing the legislation on the property tax is the only way people can be spared the charge.
