Brennan dismisses Aer Rianta repayment fears

Transport Minister Séamus Brennan has dismissed concerns about debt repayments at Aer Rianta and how they may be affected by any break-up of the company.

Transport Minister Séamus Brennan has dismissed concerns about debt repayments at Aer Rianta and how they may be affected by any break-up of the company.

There had been concerns that creditors will seek accelerated payments on the company's debts of over €400m.

Speaking before voting on the Airports Bill began in the Seanad, Minister Brennan said creditors have been kept aware of the plans and have voiced no objections.
