Katie Price in booze ban

Katie Price's advisers have told her to stop drinking when she flies to Spain tomorrow to launch her new equestrian clothing range.

The British glamour model has been warned to keep a low profile and avoid binging on alcohol when she goes to Marbella to launch her new equestrian clothing range.

A source said: "Her people want nothing to detract from the range - and if she's not drinking, then they're on much safer ground.

"When it comes to her business Katie is a true professional, so she wouldn't be partying hard anyway. But in any case, she's very aware that image is very important - especially in the business world."

The Spanish business trip will be Katie's third holiday abroad since she split from estranged husband Peter Andre earlier this year.

The 31-year-old beauty was heavily criticised on a recent trip to Ibiza where she partied until 10am.

Then when she holidayed in Marbella recently with her new boyfriend, cage fighter Alex Reid, the pair frolicked naked on their balcony.

The source continued to Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "Her image took a battering on those two occasions and her people are desperate for this not to happen again.

"The majority of her indiscretions arise from her drinking. She readily admits that she becomes a different person when she drinks and she tends to lose control. She's got quite a petite figure and her tolerance isn't the highest. This doesn't really help matters."

While she is in Marbella, Katie is expected to attend a posh polo tournament to promote her new range, before returning on Tuesday.
