Searches are continuing in Rome today for an Irish man who disappeared in the Italian capital at the weekend.

Twenty-seven-year-old Vincent Wall, from Waterford, is believed to have drowned in the River Tiber in the early hours of Saturday morning.

He is believed to have lost his balance and fell into the river following a night out with friends.

The Tiber has been at a dangerously high level following days of torrential rain.
