'Strictly' line-up revealed

The 'Strictly Come Dancing' line up was revealed last night.

The 'Strictly Come Dancing' line up was revealed last night.

Contestants for the 10th series of the show arrived for their first day of rehearsals at London's Royal Academy of Dance and despite their best efforts to disguise themselves with masks of host Bruce Forsyth, many could easily be made out.

Westlife singer Nicky Byrne will dance as will former 'This Morning' host Fern Britton and TV star Richard Arnold.

Contestants also include Texan model Jerry Hall, the former wife of Rolling Stones singer Mick Jagger, former England cricket captain Michael Vaughan, actress Dani Harmer, TV host Denise Van Outen and Girls Aloud singer Kimberley Walsh.

Walsh posted a picture of herself on Twitter that showed her wearing a revealing red glittery outfit, along with the message: “Dancing the cha cha cha…”.

Her dancing partner is yet to be officially revealed, but Walsh also shared a photograph of her practising with professional dancer Anton du Beke.

The show will also include Olympians in the form of medal winning cyclist Victoria Pendleton and gymnast Louis Smith.

Representing the soaps will be ex-'Emmerdale' actress Lisa Riley, and former 'EastEnders' star Sid Owen.

The oldest contestant on the show will be 74-year-old TV star Johnny Ball, whose daughter Zoe presents spin off show 'Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two'.

While he may be older, Johnny has reportedly some killer moves on the dancefloor.

A source recently said: "Johnny might be 74 but he's got some puff. He was looked after himself over the years and is really game.

"It would be foolish to write him off as some old duffer just there for laughs. He's been showing off some moves in training that would put much younger celebs to shame."

A mystery 14th contestant also arrived, wearing a Team GB top with the hood drawn up, although they are not thought to be an Olympian.

At the dance centre the contestants were introduced to their professional dancing partners and started learning a group routine for the opening of next week's first show of the series.
