Man attacked in grounds of Belfast hospital

A 34-year-old man is recovering in the North this evening after being attacked in the grounds of Belfast’s Royal Victoria Hospital earlier today.

A 34-year-old man is recovering in the North this evening after being attacked in the grounds of Belfast’s Royal Victoria Hospital earlier today.

Northern police said the man was walking alone in the grounds when he a red car pulled up alongside him.

He suffered broken bones and head injuries when four men jumped out of the car and attacked him.

Police are investigating the incident.
