Chris Sutton continued his remarkable recent scoring form by converting a 37th-minute winner from the penalty spot at Rugby Park today as Celtic regained their three-point lead over Rangers at the top of the Bank of Scotland Premier League.

The Englishman scored his seventh goal in eight games and his 13th of the campaign as he coolly fired home after Danny Invincibile had handled the ball inside the area.

Celtic had the opportunities to have made it much easier on themselves but it was Sutton who once again emerged the hero.
