More than 3,000 days lost to industrial disputes
Three thousand and eighty one working days were lost to industrial disputes in the first three months of this year, according to figures released today by the Central Statistics Office.
The CSO said five disputes involving 459 workers were in progress between January and March.
It said the manufacturing sector accounted for almost two-thirds of the days lost, with 28% in transport, storage and communications.
