Former GAA President, John Dowling, dies

The former President of the GAA, John Dowling, has died at the age of 71.

The former President of the GAA, John Dowling, has died at the age of 71.

Mr Dowling was a native of Tullamore, Co Offaly and he led the Association as its thirtieth President from 1988 to 1991.

As result of Mr Dowling’s death, the alliance football clash between Cork and Offaly has been postponed.
