Gardaí confirm diesel seizure
Gardaí have confirmed they have uncovered a major diesel laundering plant in Co Meath.
About 30,000 litres of diesel together with three trucks were seized this afternoon at a location close to Kilmoon, between Slane and Ashbourne.
The plant had the capacity to process up to 60,000 litres per week. The loss to the Revenue is estimated at close on €1.5m.
