Man murdered in west Belfast

The RUC has launched a murder investigation following the discovery of a man’s body on a footpath in west Belfast this morning.

The RUC has launched a murder investigation following the discovery of a man’s body on a footpath in west Belfast this morning.

The body was found at the junction of Lanark Way and the Shankill road at around 4.30am.

The victim is understood to have suffered head injuries.

A post mortem will be carried out later today.
