Helicopters, ships search for ferry passenger

The search is continuing for a woman who fell overboard from a ferry on the Rosslare to Fishguard route.

The search is continuing for a woman who fell overboard from a ferry on the Rosslare to Fishguard route.

The incident occurred at around 11.30pm last night.

Several rescue helicopters were involved in the search, which is being co-ordinated by the coastguard office in Milford Haven in Wales.

The ferry, the Stena Galloway, stayed in the area to assist in the search for the missing passenger.
