The Women on Wave movement is calling on the Government here to bring about legislation that would address the concerns of the large number of Irish women who are seeking abortions.

The Women on Wave movement is calling on the Government here to bring about legislation that would address the concerns of the large number of Irish women who are seeking abortions.

The request follows the arrival of the Dutch registered ship, ‘The Aurora’, which had said it would provide Irish women with an abortion clinic but has since confirmed that it would not be doing so.

The so-called publicity stunt has however, raised the issue of abortion in Ireland once again.
