The Texas frontwoman can't understand why celebrities break down in tears after just one week of being away from their families on the shows, and believes they should appreciate the experience a lot more because there are plenty of people who would love to have such an opportunity.

She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "You see those reality programmes and there's people who have been away from home for a week and they're crying. It's like, 'F**k off.'

"Wait, you're doing something that most people do in their life and you're crying like a big idiot?"

While Sharleen – who played with Texas at London's Hammersmith Apollo last night – doesn't give celebrities much sympathy for their reality show tears, she received plenty of her own when she smashed her face on a curb after falling over while shooting a music video in Paris earlier this year.

She added: "I haven't hurt myself like the way I did on 'The Conversation' video. I must admit the slightest slippiest bit of pavement, I'm like a 90 year old holding onto things.

"I think, 'S**t, I don't want to fall over.' Trust me that really hurt. My foot was really sore."
