Fermanagh 2-11 Sligo 0-15

Minus Nicky Rackard Cup All-Star Keith Raymond along with a host of other players, Sligo succumbed to a two-point defeat to Fermanagh at Markievicz Park.

Sligo's Colin Herity top-scored with 0-10 from frees in a NHL Division 4 game that hung in the balance throughout until Fermanagh pulled away at the finish.

Larry Cadden, Dermot Clarke and Walter Gill were the other Sligo players unavailable for this game, while they also lost Liam Reidy to an early yellow card.

The sides were tied at 0-9 to 1-6 at half-time, with Karl Keogh notching Fermanagh's goal.

Sligo's woes were further compounded when captain Fiachra Coyne was shown a red card midway through the second half.

Fermanagh took the lead for the first time with a goal from Andrew Breslin, with five minutes to go, and the Ulster side remained resolute right until the finish.
