Invest Northern Ireland is supporting NC Engineering of Hamiltonsbawn with an ambitious expansion project, which will see staffing levels hit an all-time high of 90.

Celebrating its 30th anniversary next year, the company specialises in the production of high-value engineering tailored to the individual needs of its customers.

Its ability to tailor to exacting requirements has led NC Engineering to become a global supplier of specialised construction and farming-related machinery.

It exports to customers as far afield as the US, Japan and Middle East.

Invest NI is providing the company with financial assistance of £275,000 (€392,700) towards the expansion costs of £1.5m (€2.1m).

NC Engineering managing director Normal Nicholl said: “We work in a challenging business sector which has faced a number of very tough challenges in recent years.

“However, our strength as a company lies within our ability to adapt and overcome these challenges.

“By creating the right product that exceeds our customers’ needs and expectations we have managed to attract clients from across the world and stay one step ahead of our competition.”
