Young man killed in Cork house fire

One man has been killed in a house fire in Cork overnight.

One man has been killed in a house fire in Cork overnight.

The 18-year old died when a blaze broke out at house on the Mayville estate at Turner's Cross, shortly before 5am today.

Another youth who was downstairs when the fire started has been taken to Cork University Hospital where he is suffering from smoke inhalation. His condition is not believed to be life -threatening.
