Leona Lewis has been hit by an internet blunder which has reportedly seen her new single released on the web a day after her rivals.
Lewis' new song, 'Forgive Me', was due to hit digital download outlets at the beginning of the week.
But the track is said to have hit the internet 24 hours after Britney Spears' new offering, 'Womanizer', Christina Aguilera's 'Keeps Getting' Better', and Beyonce Knowles' 'If I Were A Boy'.
The time difference is believed to have put Lewis behind the other singers in their race to the top of the charts.
A source tells The Sun: "We are trying to find out if it was an oversight or a blunder."
